Boring - and with a couple of unnecessary sexual references
Mark Banks (United Kingdom)
Opinion: Not Recommended
I should've known better than to select this title largely on the basis of its romantic-sounding title and the fact that it was set in rural Italy - those two things by no means guarantee a good film; as La Notte di San Lorenzo provides ample evidence for. I felt this film was boring; the characters were completely forgettable, apart from one strange young girl, and the story just wasn't even there in the first place. As mentioned above, there were also a couple of random and completely unnecessary sexual references that appeared to have been put in out of nowhere. One to avoid.
