Synopsis

'The Iron Giant' tells the story of young Hogarth, who becomes the luckiest kid in the world after discovering an Iron Giant in his Maine backyard. Hogarth becomes the best friend and unlikely guardian to the 50-foot metal-eating Giant, as the military closes in to hunt down the "alien" invader. Through their experiences, Hogarth teaches the Giant what it means to be a hero, and together they discover the true meaning of friendship.
